Surrey Poetry, 2024
The Annual Anthology
Welcome to the Surrey Poetry Anthology, an annual celebration of the diverse poetic talent within our county. We invite submissions from Surrey resident poets of all backgrounds and experiences, aiming to showcase the rich tapestry of voices that make up our community.
Submission Guidlines

Eligibility: Submissions are open to all Surrey residents. While we welcome poetry on any theme, we are particularly interested in pieces that celebrate Surrey landmarks and events.

Poetry Format: Please submit your poetry in English. Poems can be of any style, including free verse, rhymed, or structured forms. We accept unpublished poetry, written in the same year as the anthology publication year.

Length: There are no strict length requirements, but we recommend keeping poems under 50 lines to ensure readability in the anthology.

Submission Limit: You may submit up to three poems for consideration.

How to Submit: Please complete our submissions form below. Your poems should be saved as a PDF document. Include your name, contact information, and a proof of surrey residency.

Selection Process:
Submissions will be reviewed by our editorial team, and selections will be based on artistic merit, relevance to Surrey, and overall fit with the anthology's theme. We aim to include a diverse range of voices and perspectives in the final publication.
Publication and Acknowledgments:
Selected poets will be notified of their inclusion in the anthology prior to publication. Each published poet will receive a complimentary copy of the anthology and will be acknowledged in the publication.
